Wildlife Removal

Door installation

For residential services, when the activity occurs in difficult-to-access areas such as attics, crawl spaces, under decks and sheds, etc; installing a One Way Door over the entry point is the best method available. This device allows animals such as squirrel, rats, raccoons and skunks;  to leave the place, but not to return.

One Way Doors can only be used by adult animals. For this reason, it is very important to determine whether babies are present or not. Young animals have to be previously removed manually. After few days of installation, when animals are gone and the peace has returned to your home, we come back to remove the door and seal the entry point.

When using this method, it’s very important to reinforce other vulnerable areas to make sure re-entry doesn’t occur. For more information, click the link below.

Baby removal

Before a One Way Door can be installed, the babies have to be removed. This means a thorough search has to be performed in attics, crawlspaces, chimneys, under decks sheds or any potential nesting area in order to find them.

Once the babies are found and safely removed, they are placed in a special box that protects them against the weather, and situated by the One Way Door where the mother will find them once she gets out. Being unable to bring them back inside the attic, the mother will proceed to move them to another nest.

Raccoons, for instance, can have many nests in their territories, that are visited regularly. In the case they perceived a danger, the mother would move their litter to another nest.

We make sure that animal families are reunited and babies don’t suffer.

Trapping and relocation

Trapping Programs are more suitable for wildlife causing damage in open spaces, like backyards, gardens, driveways, roads, chicken and sheep pens, crop fields etc. Animals are handled/relocated according to provincial regulations. Most common animals trapped are: raccoons, skunks, groundhogs, porcupines, minks, beaver, coyotes, foxes and rats.

Sometimes when animals enter in direct contact with humans, due to the risk of people being attack or illness transmissions , immediate action is required. Our specialists are trained to perform live catches professionally and humanely.
